Hand knotted

The hand knotted technique is one of the most traditional and labor-intensive methods of creating rugs. Each rug is the result of a meticulous process where highly skilled artisans tie each knot individually to the base of the rug. This process can take months, depending on the size and complexity of the design, resulting in a unique piece of art with exceptional durability.

Hand knotted rugs are distinguished by their knot density, which gives them a rich texture and superior quality that only improves with time.

Hand tufted

The hand tufted technique combines craftsmanship with efficiency to create high-quality rugs in less time. Unlike hand knotted rugs, hand tufted rugs are made using a special tool that allows artisans to insert loops of yarn into a fabric base, following the desired design.

Once the base is completed, a backing is applied to secure the yarn in place. This technique allows for greater flexibility in designs and textures, and while the process is faster than hand knotting, hand tufted rugs still maintain an exceptional level of quality and detail.

Hand loomed

The Hand loomed technique is a traditional method where rugs are crafted using a manual loom.

Hand loomed rugs tend to be less labor-intensive than hand knotted rugs, but they still offer a high-quality finish, and the process allows for a wide range of pattern and textures.

This technique is known for its durability and versatility, making it a popular choice for various types of rugs.

Our Dyeing Process​
